Yesterday, we went to a floating market in Damnoen Saduak- it was really cool. All the stalls were on boats, and we were in a small push boat.. full of tourists- but it was pretty. The market sellers would pull your boat in and try and convince you to buy something! We're getting quite good at this bargaining game now and got some hefty discounts. On the way back to Bangkok, we saw some elephants and we came across a wood-carving 'factory'- there were some amazing wood sculptures and furniture, and we watched as they made it all.

We've been to see some temples and the grand palace so far- very extravagant decorations! Tuk Tuk drivers are so annoying- they kept driving us to tailors and gem shops even though we didn't want to go. They get free petrol from these places, so thats why they do it. We're trying to avoid tuk tuks now- and have been taking the water taxi (river boats) ever since.
