Love signsSo after finding it extremely frustrating and nearly impossible for us to get to Lhasa from Kathmandu by road, and then stay in China, which they will not allow, we jumped a plane to Bangkok to see where it took us.
$90 flight and we were on it with all the friends we had made in Nepal. Will never forget how Steve and I went looking for more wine and found the Flight Attendants smoking in the back room! They happily filled our glasses and pushed us back to our spots because we were the ones breaking the rules by being out of our seats!
Anyhow, had a few days in Bangkok to do this and that. Filled up on the necessities, you know, Tom Yum, Green Curry and Chang!
