well, what a journey!! From the start we almost missed the bus from Calverton and finished up dragging our cases across the village to the cherry tree bus stop! Then we missed the citylink connection across nottingham, we hoped things could only get better!

The coach trip down was a breeze and although we had a while to wait at heathrow and a slight delay in boarding due to a ground air conditioning fault which left us sweltering like we'd already arrived, we were soon on our way.

The complimentary drinks meant the 11 hour journey passed VERY quickly and we'd arrived. The train journey from the station was incredible as the track was on stilts all the way into town. The heat and humidity was incredible at approx 90 degrees and 95 percent humidity........boy can loose weight fast!

I've had a dodgy tummy which has laid me low for 36 hours, but we've still had an amazing time seeing temples, and the river, the street traders who sell everything from hand made sweeping brushes to watches and phones and the infamous took took bikes, which speed you through the streets so quickly. Our driver was Sidney and he was fantastic :D

We fly off the New Zealand tomorrow and will hope to update our blog again with pictures, as the computer I'm using has let it's licence expire and it won't let me upload. 😞
