First stop... Bustling Bankok

After a 13 hour hellish journey from LHR via Mumbai we finally arrived in Bangkok. A crazy city the first thing you need to learn is how to haggle - and fast! I learnt this the hard way after paying the price of main meal for an orange!

We stayed in Bangkok for a couple of days visiting a floating market, a temple and the bridge over the river Kwai. This is the bridge that allied forces were forced by the Japanese to build during World War 2 with many dying as a result of the project.
