I dont know what this creature was, but it was big and it was scary!
Sunday was our last full day in Bangkok so we decided to do a little shopping at one of the biggest malls in Bangkok- the MBK. The majority of the mall consists of clothing, souvenirs and accessories booths, not actual stores, which only mean one thing- BARGAINING! I can proudly say that we didnd't buy anything for full price. 😊 I bought an adorable Thai bag for B140 (B400 originally), a thai silk scarf, a beach dress for B200 (we later saw the same exact one on a beach in Phuket---for B800!!!) and some other souvenirs to bring back home.

After we reached out daily spending limit, we found a map of the area and decided to walk home. As soon as we walked out of the mall, we literally got attacked with tuk-tuk, taxi, and motorbiki offers to take us where our hearts desired. Apparently, a walking "farang" is an unusual sight in Bangkok and is considered 'suicide'. 😊 Although we had to ask for directions a couple of times, we made it back in no time. We rested for about two hours and at around 6 headed out again, to 'celebrate' our last nite in Bangkok.

Restaurant food...major dissapointment
it was our last night, we thought it would be nice to go to an actual restaurant. So we ended up eating mediocre food at much higher prices (B100 for tasteless noodles.) Once again, we proved that street food is the right choice! After dinner, we found ourselves at Lumphini Park again, where we took our good bye photo and on the way back, came accross a small frozen yogurt place which looked worth checking out. "Buddhi's Belly" was the name of it, and they had the best frozen yogurt we have ever tasted! It was a small but cozy place, and for B40 you could get a small cup of fro-yo and add toppings for B10.

It felt like our trip was ending, and that we have been gone for a long time. But then we remembered that tomorrow was going to be the start of another part of our trip- PHUKET!
