Bangkok and photos

Hi Guys

Have made it to Bangkok and can now recieve text messages (yippeee). Bangkok is not the horrid city that everyone makes it out to be, thus far i have had a good time. Got a nice new and CLEAN place to stay (no frills i.e. no hot water or tv but it has a pool on the roof).

I made some friends last night 2 english brothers, one of their girlfriends and about 5 Thai girls (they live in other towns and are on holiday in BKK too). I am going to meet the Thai girls tonight if i can handel it.

Tomorrow will have to be the day i organise the next leg of my trip..... Chiang Mai here i come. Am off to do some reading of the lonely planet and try and find some people to talk to about how much i should pay for what.

The Thais are pretty reasonable when it comes to haggling.... less pressure with than in Vietnam.... and Bangkok (well at least the super touristy part i am in) is actually quite a clean place by Asian standards.

I haven't been into the 'sex' district, a lot of people seem to go so they can say they have seen it but i think i will give it a miss.

As far as photos go i will try and put some up tomorrow. It has been difficult to find a place that will let me use my cable and i have quite a few to sort through - i can't put up 300!

Anyhow, im hungry again. Seem to be getting a lot fitter and getting in shape which amazes me because i feel like i never stop eating!
