NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!Well - after a 14 hour 'bus' (bus - meaning a vehicle that could have possibly been made in the 1970s - ie. No air con - curtains half hanging off & No suspension!) from Cambodia back through to Bangkok and 12 days off of the booze (well, kinda...) we were DESPERATE for the beer that we had been promising ourselves.
So, as we sat down and ordered our food we saw signs everywhere stating that due to the election no alcohol was allowed to be sold during the ENTIRE time that we were in bangkok!!!!! NOOOOOOO! Ah ha but knowing us as you do we smelt out a bar on the Kho San Road! Hurray!
We visited the Bridge over the River Kwai where we learnt about the sad history there with the prisoner's of war. Also, from Bangkok we took a trip to Tiger Temple where you get Seriously close to the tigers and evn pay to have a photo with the tiger's head in your lap! No Thanks! Think the tigers were slightly sedated - either that or they had been smoking those bongs again...
