We had the most fabulous dinner on our last night at the Pimalai starting with drinks and nibbles while the sun set and then a great meal, followed by a cold towel (which Nigel really appreciated due to the complete lack of a breeze).

Yesterday we flew from Krabi to Bangkok and are currently staying at the Peninsula. WOW!! The hotel is located on the river facing the business district. It is the first hotel I have been to where they checked our airpost transfer car with an under the car mirror. We had booked a balcony room but when we arrived were told the hotel was fully booked so we had been ungraded to a grand deluxe suite - we didn't complain. The room is on the 29th floor and is the most impressve hotel room we have ever seen, let alone stayed in. We have just had a great breakfast and now we have to prepare for the long journey home.

See you all soon.
