Wakeup was 5am as planned, a quick shower and hurriedly dressed to catch two trains to Tokyo station before 7:30am and then on the bullet train (shinkansen) for an hour ride to Narita airport to check into my flight to Bangkok, Thailand. This is the accommodation I have been getting used to, leaf roofs and bamboo walls and floors. Might be ok in summer but in winter or on cold nights it is freezing

Meow

This cat was so jealous of the puppies getting attention. It kept meowing untill it got some hugs. One thing I can say is compared to most villages where the pets are staving and all bones these were VERY healthy (the owners must be rich)
