The beer here is 6.5 percent! Be careful...you might end up buying a wooden musical frog from an Akha Tribe lady!
After 24 hours of travelling on a coach, a plane, another plane, then another coach we finally made it to our destination. Busy, smelly, crazy Bangkok! We arrived on the Kings birthday and every Thai person in honour of this was wearing a yellow T shirt and burning candles. Its amazing to actually be here...almost on the other side of the world to home, friends, family and Conker (of course!).

We are just getting our bearings and letting our bodies re-adjust after all when we woke up at 10:30 am Bangkok time it was actually 3 in the morning our time! We have been shopping today, well I have been shopping! Michael bought some sunglasses which make him look real cool and I bought some clothes since I didn't really bring any with me! I will look like a real Thai tourist now!

We have spent a lot of time on the Koh Sarn Road. Its very touristy it has everything, even Trafiks album! Andrew and John you are everywhere!

We are travelling to Koh Tao tonight so we can chill out and Michael can learn to Scuba Dive! Everyone is so friendly here and we have been

Michael had a funny dinner with an egg ontop! Still smiling though.
given a lot of advice from the locals about where to go, where not to go. Some people are trying to sell us stuff and some are just being friendly.

We got our first Tuk Tuk, the driver was so so so enthusiastic about everything we had to say. He was very impressed that we knew the T.A.T office (tourist office), that we spoke a very small amount of Thai and that we knew where Chang Mai was.

We went to the MBK centre last night, a big shopping mall where Michael bought a football (how could he have done without one so far!), we then went to the coolest bowling alley where Michael won both games but I got Two strikes in a row after I re-learnt how to play! Michael also found a Pro Evo arcade game and played and beat a Thai man! He was very chuffed.
