Today I spent some more time going through my guidebook (a good excuse to get some time in the sun), I actually read my guidebook which I've never managed before. Then took the boat and sky train to Erawan Shrine. After that I had lunch in MacDonalds and shopped in Marks and Spencer and Next!

After years of dreaming about it, and months of talking about it, I finally made the decision to travel. In 2006 I gave up my job and set off on an adventure to South East Asia.........and I'm still here! Last year I traveled to Sri Lanka, India and Thailand and had an amazing time, completely falling in love with the places, the people and the lifestyle - not to mention the weather.
