Taipei to Hsinchu 76km

Had an awesome ride(a few mechanical adjustments necessary early on) to Hsinchu with the first 30km or so being on dedicated bike paths! Found a great hotel along a beautiful canal in the centre core near lots of great restaurants!



Note to cyclists: we're including our daily mileage as a reference but don't use it as gospel as we aren't always taking the most direct routes and the total includes any getting lost(what? not us!) and looking around for hotels.....

Josee was about to use a porta-potty when a guy in a truck pulled up and frantically tried to tell us something. We eventually figured out that he was cleaning them and that we should hit the next one down the path!
