We arrived back from our day trip up the coast, collected our bags, chose food for our train dinner from the gourmet delights at 7/11 and happily settled in with the free wifi at the station until it was time to board our train for Tainan. There are literally thousands, all set in cylinders, within some of the temples

I think they are made from corn and were being sold full of artificial cream, then dipped into chocolate

It changed colour - they were all hideous....

uneven footpaths
I'll try again! Enjoying your blogs, Linese. The uneven footpaths were not fun either in Taichung when trying to negotiate them with a stroller when I was there last year! Not exactly wheelchair friendly - I saw a man in a wheelchair being pushed down the middle of a busy street, weaving between the traffic- scary, but he was laughing! Love to you and Gerry.
