Once Chinese New Year's Eve was over, it was time to head to the beach. We spent three days there. The plan was to surf and hike. We are Claire and Brian. We are awesome. If you know us, a small piece of your heart is forever content. it was Claire's birthday!

At the train station...

...in Fangliao...I don't remember! It's the end of July and I'm just posting this! We were here to catch the super cool train to the east side of the island.

It was a great train

beautiful scenery

but a lot of tunnels

you can't see well in tunnels

and they're loud!

I was right!

My memory is phenomenal!

we're playing Oregon Trail on Steve's iPhone. Marvis keeps getting stolen by eagles, and Claire broke her leg and arm several times.

Drink like cats!!

In Taitung we played a drinking game. One of the rules created was to 'drink like a cat'. Taitung is not too happening at night. A lovely city though.
