When we arrived in Kalmunai, it was mid-day. Kalmunai town was busy with farmers and a lot of ox carts filled with hay. Now and then a group of armour carriers cruise passed all of us. Of course we have to let them go as fast as they can, otherwise we would be in a big trouble.
I was completely exhausted after sitting behind the steering wheel for nearly 9 hours. We were welcomed by a group of Muslim women where my sister plan to stay during her Advanced Level exams. Everyone was very friendly! We had two or three plates of curry and string hoppers for dinner. To be honest it was a satisfying dinner. The time was very short in Kalmunai.
Tomorrow morning, we have to go to the local police station to renew our travel document. We are going to drive along the Eastern Coast down to Arugam Bay via Pottuvil.
