The coast is still guarded in spite of little chance of invasion. Here is a quote from a tourist brochure about a secluded beach in Busan. -"The Korean military considers the area strategic, and a small camp, complete with a manned machine gun, overlooks the path from the beach. Signs warn against taking pictures and list several casualties over the years."

Great photos John!
You've put me to shame again, John! Last few weeks have been crazy, so have made no progress with my blogs. On the road again myself. Currently in Beijing on my way to Mongolia next week. Enjoy your last months in South Korea. What happens after that?

Good luck in Mongolia
Hi Sue, Enjoy your next overland journey. A pity about your blogs getting behind. Still, it is better to be traveling than writing about it, i guess. How long will I have to wait for the Mongolian one?? (joke) . Getting a tourist visa for NW China was too difficult, with the Tibet protests/ earthquke and Olympics, so I am going to Vietnam start of September instead, before going back to Oz-John

Hi
John, How are you doing? I've heard you had a terrible cold from your co-teacher. Right after you went to hospital. I called the worker in the hospital. She told that you've taken only medicine. I also wonder if you buy the ticket to cambodia. Anyhow, please take care of yourself. You know I dont like your ailment.:-) I read your traveling story.

Hi Angela
Thank you for your concern about my cold. I am now better, but I still have a cough, which won't go away. I now have my ticket to Vietnam for end of August. Teaching is going well and will soon have many camps.-John
