NARRATIVE: We spent the final days of our trip in South Korea exploring all the amazing authentic Korean food. Our first stop was Jyoti Restaurant, one of the best restaurants known in Korea. South Korea is very well know for their delicious food and won’t take a complaint about the food. It was a high rated restaurant so we had very high expectations and they were satisfied. We almost ordered the whole menu but didn’t when Missael suggested we try each one’s plate, to cut the serving in three so we all get a little of everything we all ordered. Plus Missael also has a high expectation since his father is a chef and he knows food very well. In the end our food critic, Missael, was satisfied. After the dinner we thanked them for the meal as respectable as we could because we didn’t want to be improper and get in trouble for not being polite, since this is one of the strictest countries.
But people weren’t kidding when they said that South Korea had some of the best chefs, the food was magnificent and we ate every single bite of it (to not be rude and
ask for containers too😊 But then we walked out with a big belly and we had wanted to try other restaurants. So we walked around to settle our stomachs and make room for some more! All that walking brought us to a South Korean Flea Market: Majang Market with even more food inside! What more could we have asked for! The
site was fabulous and extremely clean, huge, and the
movement of the crowd was easy likea fish swimming with their group. We were really able to sample foods from all different parts of South Korea which was exactly what we wanted. Not only did we get to experience the amazing food offered in South Korea but we were also able to experience all the beauty of the art of cooking since the chefs were right in front of you preparing your spicy, sweet, well seasoned, sea or meat dish! It was like a small
Megalopolis of all of South Korea under one roof because not only was there food but also their traditional outfits, music, dance. It was a wonderful place to end our trip, we know we were heading back home with full stomachs.
