I went to the Perth International Airport with my family and friends and checked in my flight and hand in my luggage. While I was waiting, I had a cappuccino in a café at the airport and said my goodbyes to my love ones. I wait about an hour before I went into security to be checked and to board the plane. My flight took off at 6:00am.
On the plane i was in the first class section of the plane and there were small individual cabins for each passenger. In every cabin there was a small remote that had buttons to slide down the side walls, to change the channel on the TV, to adjust the temperature, to adjust the lighting, to call for assistance, to order food and many more. You could choose to eat at any time just by pressing the assistant button on the remote .The ceiling of the aeroplane had a mood lighting system which helps with adjusting to time difference and reduce jetlag. It was also very quiet and peaceful on the plane. One of the things that amazed me was they had a mini-bar at the front of the plane so you can
go walk around and meet other passengers and mingle. The cabins had double sliding doors on the sides where it could be closed for complete privacy so you could sleep or change into other clothes. The plane also had Wi-Fi internet, which could be connected to Ipod touches/Iphones, laptops and internet accessable phones. You could surf the web, chat, tweet, go on facebook or check your emails. The plane allowed mobile phones to recieve and make calls just like you can the ground, but I didn't call anyone because the was about 9:30am, so they'll either be be at work or on their way to work.
For most of the time on the plane I was playing around with the 'multi-prupose' remote in my cabin. I pressed random buttons to see what it does and tested out the amazing sliding doors. I checked the channels on TV to see any movie that i liked, but nothing caught my interest, even though the plane had over 1,200 channels with the lastest and best movies. Instead, I played games that was on the TV to keep myself busy. It was not too long until we landed so I decided to order
breakfast snacks. I had tea, a blue berry muffin, a small fruit salad and yoghurt. It may not have filled me up but it was delicious. For the rest of the flight I checked out the mini bar on the plane and tried a few wines and champagnes.
I landed in Dubai at 1:00pm where I got off the plane and waited to board another plane to go to Korea. I had to wait a long time until I can board the other plane. I decided to go look around the airport and check out the things from the Dubai Duty-Free. I was able to wait in the Dubai Airport Emirates First Class Lounge and do whatever I want in there. They had shops, restaurants, cafes, spa (where they provided beauty treatments, massage therapies and hairstyling services) and lounges (with 2 TVs, international newspapers and magazines, Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, internet enabled computers and printers and recharging facilities).
While I was there, I went into the spa to get a massage (the first treatment was complimentary) and have a facial treatment. After that I managed to catch up with my mum and friends on the phone and just
walked around exploring stores and shops. It was tiring, waiting 14 hours and 30 minutes at the airport. They had 3 lounges to choose according to your mood and I chose the one closest to the restaurants. I didn't have much to do, so I sat back and relaxed in the comfortable chairs. I updated on social networks and read about 5 magazines. I couldn't sleep, knowing that people are walking around from place to place and sees me sleeping. Instead went to the 24 hour buffet and enjoyed many different food from seafood to salads to sweet deserts.
I got on the next plane at 3:30am. I felt so tired and just wanted to rest before I arrive at Korea. One thing I didn't mention before was there were 2 shower spas at the front of the plane which allows people to take a shower while flying in the air. The down side is you have to tell the flight attendant before the flight that you want to use it or else other people also want to use it then you have to wait a long time. When i first saw the shower, I seriously thought it looked
amazing, so of course I'm going to try them. When the flight attendant was walking around, I stopped her and told her that i wanted to shower during the flight. Luckily, I was the first one to ask so I was first in. Right when the plane took off, I was in there taking an 'air shower' and enjoying the Bvlgari products provided in there. After the shower the flight attendant handed me complimentary pajamas, slippers, eye masks, socks and ear plugs. When I got back to my cabin my chair was reclined out into a bed and was ready for me to sleep in. I closed down the side walls and dimmed down the lights and slept for the rest of the trip.
