This station is near my home It's early in the evening yet
We got a new teacher at school from Hawaii, John Wade. I was the only white american among all korean girls and one Korean American for 3 months. Now we got another whitey dude in there. Oh, I love the girls. There great. I don't mind doing quizzes from Redbook "10 Signs Your Man is Dating Your Brother", "Lose 10lbs Eating Orange Peels, Old FingerNails, and Broken Glass. Learn How Inside!!", or discussing the right amount of time to keep hosiery. I'm down, i can dig it. Just not all the time. So needless to say, which means I shouldn't say it cuz it's needless.................? Needless to say it's nice having another guy around for first time since I've been working there.

Anyway, John's fresh off the boat and in need of a hearty night out. I had a cool couple of guys show me around when I first arrived so I wanted to take John out for a proper night out in Seoul. It started out innocent as it seems to too many times in this city, then once 2-3am hits it gets ugly and you can't feel feelings anymore or can't understand why everyone just got a little

Great punk band playing in the street. What a treat!
prettier.

Pros Seoul Nightlife: Drink A lot for cheap
Anywhere there's music, people will dance
No Western style Machoism, if you stick to the korean bars
People here Love to drink
BARS DON'T CLOSE @ 2-3AM like in the West
EVERYONE is having a great time
No Car = No Drunk Driving
Music is great at most places; not all hip hop and western music, you can find some really good electronic/house
beats.
After drinking all night, at 6-7am, you go sit down and have proper food with all your mates and sober up or.....
....drink more Soju with breakfast. (or the occasional Mcdonalds)
Korean bars are better than Western Bars. Too many meat heads in Western bars. The Korean bars are so
much more fun with no tension. Why come to Korea if your not going to enjoy everything about it? I've seen
about enough Little John/Chingy/Young Joc's, white guys that REALLY can't dance, so they just hump girls
around the dance floor, and overall general doucheery back home. No need to see it here too.

Cons Seoul Nightlife: The bars/clubs stay open
Terrifying BabyTerrifying BabyTerrifying Baby

Street Art
all night so you walk out like James Vanderbeek in Varsity Blues, the suns up, and
you just finished a couple of shots of Soju or downed a glass of Cass. IT'S 7am.
It's just fuel for the fire. You don't have to go home at all.

So John and I had a great night out for his first big night in Seoul. Enjoy!!!
