After lunch we were treated to an elaborate percussion dance

The hats that the dancers were wearing had long ribbons attached to them and would spin as they moved their heads.

The foreigners joined the dancers for the last song (Stacey is in the bottom left with the buns in her hair).

This turtle was guarding the entrance to Hanok. I valiantly bested him in combat and had him caste in stone to ward off others who may dare bar my entrance into any village! HEEEEEEMAAAAAAN!

The temple area was gorgeous, placed in the hillside among the trees.

There were mural paintings like this around one of the temple buildings, this one seems to depict a guy... erm... giving his severed hand to a man in a cave? The man in the cave seems a little surprised.
