The river that is about a 10 min walk from our apt.
It is really pretty at sunset and there is a path that goes alongside it for walking/jogging/biking.

Conversation Club
The pictures station. You are stranded on an island. Compare the boat (in the picture it is a lego pirate boat) and the box of matches. Which of these is useless?

2nd grade boys.
They are penguins and they actually wanted their picture taken!

The river near our apartment.
I got the flowers in this picture. The bridge looks super nice now because they have flowers hanging from both sides of the bridge the entire way across it.

Our way up Apsan Mountain in the cable car.
You can climb up the mountain a little bit (on a paved trail) and then take a cable car higher. The cable car didn't look like it went as high from down below.

Ahhh Daegu!
This isn't even half of the view of the city. I was astounded to see how large it looks from the mountain. I don't feel as bad for getting lost so many times any more.

Some of my conversation club students hard at work.
This is one of five comparison stations. This is the competition station where they arm wrestled, held their breath, jumped, etc to see who is stronger, can jump higher, etc.

That's the back of my vice principal's head on the left and my head teacher (a PE teacher) at the podium on the right.

First grade students.
You will see that the kids aren't very good at the whole let me take their picture thing. I thought it was just me, but then when I saw one of the PE teachers try to get a class together for a picture, I realized that was not the case.
