We had to cut our stay short by one night in Singapore as we realised, the airport where we were catching our flight to Borneo tomoz, is in fact in a different country, Malaysia! (across the boarder!)

Travels began catching the no 145 bus to where we could board a coach to get us across the countries. Its so cheap - bus costs SIN$90 cents and the coach ride SIN$2.40.

Stepping out into Malaysia was a completely different to Singapore by far! We were in a town called Johor Bahru - where the Custom and Immigration checkpoints are located. People hassling us straight away 'Want taxi' Ran to the first half decent looking hotel we came across, the Meldrum Hotel. Price per person worked out at 5pounds for a standard room, cheaper than our Singapore hostel which was around 7 pounds.
