Met up with Ken (Snowball)and took a train and bus to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Bit of a rain down pour today so everything was very wet. Fantastic reserve with lots of mangroves and the chance of seeing crocodiles and snakes. Last remaining bit of mangrove in Singapore - 0.13%.

Saw lots of birds: egrets, herons (large and small), kingfishers (2 different types - little and big), lots of waders: redshanks, plovers, etc. Also spotted large snails, crabs, monitor lizards, terrapins and more mud fish! Unfortunately no crocodiles or snakes but lots of mosquitos - hopefully not transmitting dengue fever!

Got picked up by a Phillipino lady who was a stockbroker and had two houses who very kindly gave us a lift all the way back to Singapore City.
