Prepare to repel boarders
Sadly, we had to leave after a lovely, if somewhat hot, 4 days. Last night we had a farewell cruise in the Andaman Sea on a yacht captained by a dubious bunch of seamen (looked more like pirates to Mary). But we had great fun and an excellent meal. And saw a beautiful sunset. During the cruise, the crew lowered a rope net into the water and the more adventurous guests jumped into the water and were hauled along in the net, drink beer from cans thrown down by the crew. How cool is that? Alas, we didn't have swim suits so we couldn't join them It was a real UN crowd. We conversed with Australian, Indian, Finns and other unidentified nationalities.

The stars of our visit to Langkawi were the Dusky Leaf Monkeys. They go around in troupes, eating all the leaves in the jungle and posing for amusing photos.

On the previous evening we visited a Rice Museum, the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, and the main town Kuah. And, yesterday, Mary managed to get back into the sea without being stung, eaten etc.

Now we're back in Singapore and about to be logged out if I don't hurry.

PS. I must tell you later about the disappearing money that eventually turned up at the Jewellers' at the airport.
