Well the last 48hours has ben an interesting one.

Mary came down with severe unusual pains and she had to go to see a doctor here in Singapore...........he sent her off for a couple of tests ( blood tests and an ultrasound ) and the results were that she has Acute Cholecystitis ( infected gall bladder )..........and will probably need an operation..... if she gets another attack. We were also advised not to continue on the rest of the trip as if it happens in Egypt or Turkey the consequences could be very serious indeed, she is ok as we speak.

We have decided to return home on the weekend and have booked a flight out of Singapore to Sydney via KL....I think we will get into Sydney on sunday. This flight is not confirmed as yet and if this changes I will let you all know.

I would appreciate it if none of you contacted Frank or Susan yet as Mary would like to tell them herself and will contact them herself ASAP
