Well we have made it to Singapore at least. Not a bad flight. Left San Francisco at midnight and had a great dinner on china with table linens etc, movie ( chose Jodie Fosters The Brave One - not bad - out of a selection over 80 movies plus tv, games etc., then slept for 8 hours ( see photo ), up for another nice sunrise ( see photo ) breakfast and some audiobooks on the iPod. Landed in Hong Kong after 14 hours for one hour but didn't have to get off the plane. Final 4 hour hop to Singapore with another great breakfast. Nice weather ( 26 C ). Thought we might rush into town for a couple of Singapore slings at the Raffles Hotel Long Bar but Kim needed a little more rest so showered and dined in the Singapore Air Business lounge between flights. Nice place for Kim to catch up on her rest as needs it with her arthritis.

Changi Airport in Singapore is really a combination of a huge mall ( see photo ) and an airport. No domestic terminal as a city state so any flight is out of country! Everyone claims prices are great here but at least at the airport they are equal to canadian prices so no advantage. Maybe better than European pricing.

So just practicing this travelblogging while we wait a couple of hours for our final flight to India!
