Singapore lion
the famous merlion of singapore. symbolising both old and new It's Official!! my ceiling is no more interesting under the dim green glow of my alarm clock than it is during the day. after about 40 minutes of sleep last night it was finally time to go!!!
We arrived in singapore fairly quickly, although there is only so many times you can play super tennis. we went straight to the visitors centre and signed up for our free tour of singa's (we got one because we are here for 10 hours). spent the rest of the time searching for some sunglasses and a watch, which as yet i haven't found. everything seems to be aimed at the rich and famous!!! once the tour got under way we went through customs and got a colonial tour of the city via a bus and a rickity old boat that pumped out more water than i was comfortable with!! it was the snazziest bus i have ever seen!!! leather seats, air con and the works.
we found this lounge/spa thing rainforest retreat etc. this was like a hidden gem in the airport. it was fantastic!!! for S$20 we got a shower and free food and internet and tv and couches with
singapore swirl
strange architecture serene rainforest music playing.
off for our heatrow journey. 14 hours!!!
ciao for now
