Wow. great city. I wasn't too convinced at first. Maybe it was just the jet lag but we took a river cruise and got our bearings and it kind of started to make sense. fantastic at night ? very expensive though!

Lovely old colonial building. The Long Bar isnt actually that long but Singapore Slings and a bag of monkey nuts just had to be done! Tradition is to throw the nut shells on the floor. Don't know why but when in Rome.... the floor was absolutely covered in them!

Wonderful New York Cheesecake and a gluten free moose for Mrs B. Great good the entire trip and not a chocolate Hobnob in sight ?

Coloured fountains. People do actually walk through them just for fun but also to cool down I reckon. The heat and humidity during the day was crazy

Sweltering hot streets. Lost count of the number of tailors offering to make me a shirt or suit! Had a nice Thai lunch in Temple Street. Relatively cheap compared to the riverside places we'd eaten in.
