Is this Anilon cave?

It does not look like a cave. Well, even our boatmen were not quite sure of the names of the islets.

We were actually looking down at shore, about 5 feet below us. Due to the strong undercurrents and waves between these 2 islands (the one on the other side), this part of shore has become elevated.

The undercurrents and waves in this island were strong, thus the part of the shore (not seen in the picture) has become elevated (about 5 feet above the shoreline).

I forgot which island this pearl farm can be found but is is privately-owned. The house of the owner has a viewing deck where one can see a 360 view of the island. Just request the caretaker to let you go up.

Great writing, Hana
Hana, I just love reading your blogs. Quite behind on your writing, but worth the wait for sure. I hope you write more regularly about our country. Your writing is so compelling, that I may just brave the waters and the unpaved roads to get there!

Salamat!
I highly appreciate your comments. Really. Yes, I need to catch up on my way delayed writing. The next few blogs are all about our country and her people.

Doc Hana! So these are the places you've visited! That's why I don't get to see much of you in RACMLA. Nice to stumble on your blogs here, easy reading.

Surfing Polillio and Jomalig Islands
Just came back from the Islands of Polillio and Jomalig. Spent a week out there searching for new surf spots. What I found, was a surfers paradise good for all levels of surfing. Sand breaks. Reef breaks. Gentle waves. Challenging waves. Waves everywhere. I cant wait to go back.
