Wet Market
Buying some Curacha, a local sea crab, uniquely found in the waters around ZamboangaI went to Zambaonga with my best office friends to work on a project. It was a 1 hour flight from Manila to Zamboanga and during the flight we talked never-ending as if we don't see each other in the office.
We worked for two straight days and then we went around Zamboanga, going to the flea market to buy some souvenirs, big crabs and their famous Curacha. We also bought a special sauce called
Alavar to cook with the Curacha.
Evangelista Farm The best part of our trip was when we visited a former officemate who bought a big farm and decided to live there. He built a wooden house in the middle top of his farm. The wood used for the house came from forest trees located at the back right side of the farm. He built a small saw mill to cut and smoothen the trees and turn them to usable wood. He toured us around his farm, where one can see spectacular views, mango groves, and lots and lots of trees....
