Nice pictures. I took the LRT everywhere in Manila too. So convenient and cheap. Which guesthouse did you stay at? We stayed at the Kabayan HOtel in Pasay. Took the LRT all the way to Tayuman and took tricycles. What an experience!

hi how are you? Thanks for your comment. I stayed at Windsor Inn, not far from Blumentrit LRT. it wasn't bad, but a bit far from Ermita/Malate etc. But still cool, beside LRT I was taking jeepney's alone too. I loved Philippines, the friendliest people I've met in Asia!

hi
i'm relieved to find out that you had good impressions of Manila and your Philippine trip, as a whole. If there's opportunity you'd be back again, please note that genuine hosteling -- where you get lots of insider help on how to maximize your stay in the country -- is both possible now in Makati City and Manila as well. Just google RED CARABAO and OUR MELTING POT since these are the ones that get good reviews. Have a good life!
