One fine saturday, me and my friends had some rest and recreation at the Farm @ San Benito. The place which is located in Brgy. Tipakan, Lipa City, Batangas is a two hour drive from Manila. We left Manila at 7:00am, had our breakfast at Jolibee, Caltex Station, South Expressway and arrived at around 9:30 am. With a map in tow, we found the place easily although it is situated in a very remote area. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us a welcome drink of coconut water with a dash of kalamansi. How refreshing! She gave us a tour around the north wing part of The Farm. Included in our package is a Live Blood Analysis (LBA) wherein you will know how your blood cells react. After the LBA session, we went to the Southpool part where our vegan lunch was served. We were served with the following mouth-watering vegan menu:
1. Black Ravioli with Coriander Cashew Glaze and Orange Ginger Relish
2. Green and White Soup
3. Salad Supreme
4. Summer Corn and Spinach Quiche
5. Lentil Stew on Wilted Petchay with Tomato Puree
6. Divine Pumpkin Strudel (dessert,

Our package, Day of Delight, includes the following:
"Select either Reflexology massage or pepeermint foor scrub for relaxation or a medical consultation (limited to 30 minutes) with Live Blood Analysis. Be delight with the five-course Vegan gourmet lunch, a guided tour on the property, use of facilities, including swimming pools, meditation lounge, gym and library, and free participation in the regularly scheduled spiritual development and fitness programs."
Anyway, the Farm is nestled at the foot of Mt. Malarayat amidst 47 hectares of lush greens, lagoons and ponds and well manicured lawns. It is the country's first medical center that employs non-traditional healing techniques.
According to their brochure,
The Farm at San Benito is one of the few truly medical spas or alternative medical health resorts in the world. The Farm therapies through detoxification and includes the whole person, body, mind and soul - so to speak - because when one hurts, all suffer. Reinstall harmony, balance and improved lifestyle through rejuvenation and relaxation into a persons life and you are likely to see disease disappear.
How to get there:
