I used the HDR feature of Nikon D7100. I wrote about it here: http://jayexiomo.blog.com/2013/07/29/testing-nikon-d7100s-hdr-feature. It's a bit on the technical side. But if you're interested in learning more about it, here's one site that I think explains it well: http://lifehacker.com/5991508/what-is-hdr-and-when-should-i-use-it-in-my-photos Personally I think I overdid the HDR in some pictures, since I'm still learning about the feature.

im not an expert in photography but I love the exagerated drama that HDR did for your photos. too bad my nikon D3200 doesnt have that feature and im too lazy to study post processing on computers

Hmm. I am not a blogger nor have much time checking out blogs but your blog for Batanes has honestly caught my attention.The photos are captivating,i haven't realize till this day how many more amazing places we can visit, to discover and conquer the world through it.
