Mike updating the blog. We had a low key week in Kathmandu and now are in Pokhara (a town a couple of valleys west of Kathmandu) for the weekend. No pics in this update because the web is a little slow here today. Pokhara is a lot nicer than Kathmandu and we're enjoying just relaxing by the lake. We're heading back to Kathmandu tomorrow because my flight back to Bangkok is on Tuesday.
Melinda's bus to India is also scheduled for Tuesday, but it's a bit unclear whether she'll be able to go then because southern Nepal is having some major floods at the moment and the roads may be closed. If the bus can't get through, she'll probably have to wait the floods out in Kathmandu. I guess these are the hazards of traveling in Asia during monsoon season.
