Mike here: still having a good time in Kathmandu. Dominic and Cindy have introduced us to lots of interesting people. Dominic has arranged for me to do a training workshop for some activists with one the democratic political parties next week, which should be an interesting experience. We had a nice dinner with some civil society people last night, including the head of the Law Society of Nepal and the chair of a coalition organizing non-partisan monitoring of the national election planned for this November, which was also very interesting. Today we're going to try to organize Melinda's onward travel to India (which may be easier said than done, we'll see how it goes). Here are some pics from the past few days (they're all from my cell phone, will post better quality camera pics another day).
