Our flight to Kathmandu took an hour and a half and sadly we didn't see any major mountains - maybe from the direction we flew you weren't supposed to but we had been expecting to see some. After landing and going through customs and visa control (One month visas cost US $ 40 each, payable only in US dollars) we were met by the driver from the guest house we had booked into.
