Malaysia, beautifull Island

We arrived On 'the beautiful Island' after a very long flight followed by a ver long drive. The ticket man assured us it was an 'Express Bus', it the proceeded to stop at every bus stop , a 2 and a half hour trip taking over 6 hours, so when we finally reached our first destination we were exhausted and in much need of a cocktail. We stayed in a cabin at the reggae vibes hostel a stones throw away from the beach. The landlord was a Young dread who became progressively more stoned throughout the course of the days almost to the point of incomprhension, however he still managed to wash dry and fold our washing in the most proffesional manner.
The water was blue, the food was a fantastic mix of Thai/Malaysian/Chinese/Indian. The best meals being enjoyed for a fraction of the cost of those in the bay restaurants, in China town center. Truly authentic Chinese food for a couple of dollars. We thought Malaysia was a very colourfull country with great food and realy friendly people.
