Petronas Towers
Our meeting point with Shawna. And so, on to destination number two, Malaysia! We arrived in the fantastic city of Kuala Lumpur late in the afternoon, none of us knowing what to expect. After checking into our hotel in the heart of the cities bustling shopping district, we were off to meet Shawna, who was in town for a couple of hours before her flight to Korea. We'd arranged to meet at the biggest landmark in Kuala Lumpur, the 452m tall Petronas Twin Towers, one of the tallest buildings in the world. Luckily, finding each other proved easy and it was off for dinner and, much to my joy, delicious pints of Tetleys bitter. An hour or so later it was time to bid Shawna farewell, and to retire for the night. The next day started well, but then Amys run of bad luck continued, whereas for me just the runs continued! We had decided to take it easy that day and indulge in a little retail therapy, Amy buying herself a shiny new MP3 player, which broke. My iron stomach was still reeling from whatever had attacked it in Bali, so I spent the day trying to keep my insides in! This altered our plans
Dr Fish
Millions of fish munch the dead skin from Dave's disgusting feet! for the Friday. We had planned to head to the Cameron Highlands that day, but I was in no fit state to go on a bus, so it was a trip to the doctors instead, before heading across town to get Amys MP3 player repaired. I actually think the MP3 situation was a clever trick by the girls to get me out of their hair for the day, but i cant be sure! Misson successful, we met up again later in the day for dinner. We also decided to go to the cinema, and on the way we stumble across a Dr. Fish clinic. Dr. Fish is a big craze in Asia, particullarly in Korea, and we had wanted to do it for ages. What happens is you sit with your feet in a big fish tank, then loads of small fish nibble all the dead skin off your feet! its a very strange experience, very tickly, but very fun! The following morning we said goodbye to Kuala Lumpur and headed to the Cameron Highlands, a dense area of jungle and tea plantations high in the hills of Malaysia. After a nerve-wracking journey along twisting roads o the least road-worthy

Amy and Sophie seem happy about the fish, or are they just laughing from the tickling? bus I have seen in my life, we arrived and settled in for the night, ready for a jungle hiking adventure! Bright and early the next morning our guide took us off into the unkown, leaving the marked paths behind and into the heart of the jungle. Then we stopped for tea and scones. A walk back through the tea plantations left us thouroughly exhausted and ready for sleep! Almost as soon as we had arrived it was back on the bus (this time far more road-worthy) and to the airport. On to Vietnam!
