So, the last time i posted it was the full moon party, and its safe to say the rest of our time on the island consisted of not doing very much at all. we basically just watched movies and played cards with the Swedish girls, (who definitely make up their own rules) definitely our quietest time in Thailand, but i can think of worst things than chilling on a tropical island!

our next decision was where to go next. we know we have to fly to Australia on the 1st December from Singapore so that's the direction we needed to head... But mike was still on KO Tao diving and Annika, Helena and Linda were heading there as well. the idea of surprising mike and keeping up our travel with the swedes seemed like a good idea, but in the end, and considering we had already paid for nights in advance, we decided to give it a miss. definitely one for next time though. so, armed with a maximum of 1400bht repared to pay for the travel to KL we spent an hour walking around the travel agencies. we ended up paying 1300 which is by far the most we've spent on travel, but its quite a distance and 22 hours in total! a quick run down of the travel was this;
6 am pick up in taxi
7 am ferry to Surat Tani
10 am coach to....

and that's about all we know on where we were. we got dumped off the coach after about an hour and put on a mini bus ( really really cramped) for a bout 6 hours until the boarder crossing into Malaysia. there we managed to grab a hot dog on a stick, and i could well mean that literally, before we were put onto a different mini bus for another 6 or 7 hours until we were dropped of in a city called Penang for a couple hours (grabbing a well deserved KFC ) and then, some actual good news, we were put onto a coach/ sleeper bus, and managed to grab some decent sleep before arriving in KL at 6 am! This would have been so much worse if we had not met sy and frank, two English guys who we're now going to travel with until we reach Singapore on Wednesday......

Will try and post again before we fly to Australia
