The Twin Towers
After a few relaxing yet busy weeks back home we decided it was time to head off to Asia once again. We decided to return to Bali for the summer so Matt could spend his time surfing and I could get on with some art work. On the way we stopped off in Malaysia to spend a month on our favourite beach island but ended up spending a week of that in Kuala Lumpur sorting out our Indonesian visas.
We stayed in a pretty scabby place with a tiny room and no window and it wasn't until the first morning that we realised we were sharing our bed with a family or should I say a community of bed bugs! Matt was particularly badly bitten so we asked to change rooms. The new room wasn't much better so we made a mental note not to stay there when we came back to K.L!
We spent a day doing some sight seeing and visited the butterfly park and bird sanctuary. I fell in love with an albino crow. He was so cool! We grabbed a subway for dinner and as fate would have it, Matt's bridge fell out. It was 5pm so

Bed bugs! Aaahhhhh!!
all the dentists were shut and we were catching the night bus up to the Perhentian Islands so he had to go without it. The journey was horrendous. Neither of us got any sleep and we arrived at around 5am and had to wait 2 hours for the boat to take us over to paradise.
