Transported to a new world by your blog and photos
Hi Karen, Love the History and photos, this looks like the most fun place so far. The sense of humor in the artwork is infectious, so I hope that means people are happy. What a great way to save and enhance old buildings and not have to pay for it. Great to have titles on the buildings in English, but what is the primary language? Language
The official language is Bahasa Malaysia (Malaysian language,) but there is a considerable push for people to learn English. This is part of the Prime Minister's goal to be a developed nation by 2020, and the British held sway over the Federated Malay States until 1957, so there is a legacy of speaking English, at least in commerce.
