We are Emma Holmbro and Ake Dahllof. We live in Stockholm, Sweden. We have travelled more or less regularly since the mid 1990-ies and it seems like the more we travel the more difficult it is to decide where to go next. The name of the painting is something very similar to "The Real Bruce Lee Would Never Do This". The painting shows Bruce Lee kicking a cat. Now we have a full 10 photos of cats in this blog entry

Why wait. We throw in cat number 11 right after number 10. A black somewhat faded one it is.

Reoccuring theme

This kind of art is quite common thoughout George Town. They are made from steel and they resemble simple cartoons.

Interesting, but not really street art

We don't see them as being quite a part of the art scene. We think the city has requested them to be put up and they might have relevance to the street or the history of George Town.

Some of them probably have something to say

There might be a joke or an interesting story hidden in these. But we never understood them so we can't really tell

Is that a minion? We are too old to know what they really are. We have only heard of them

That is a strange cat, made out of bicycle parts. But still counts as a cat. Making it now a full dozen of photos of cats

Love this blog! We got one of those maps and went street art hunting when we were there in 2014... it was heaps of fun. The original 2d / 3d combination ones where commissioned pieces done by Ernest Zacharevic (kids on bicycle, boy on chair, boy on motorbike etc.), and they were so popular that copy cat ones like the kids on a swing and kids leaning out of the bakery window started emerging. Lovely to see that so many of the ones we enjoyed looking at are still hanging on. We loved the cat ones too, but just couldn't get into the metal sculpture ones. Looking forward to your thoughts on George Town :)

It was great fun hunting them all down
It was good fun to walk around and try to find them all. I think my favourite is the two children reaching out through a window trying to steal bread from a bicycle outside. The two children are appararently the shop owners own children. /Ake
