This was the road - a concrete path. No cars, only mopeds with sidecars for carrying things.

May, in "homeschooling" Ella, you're doing what I try to do everyday in the classroom - follow the children's interests. How great that you have such a rich environment to surround you all. I can't think of a more perfect "school"! Love hearing of your journeys!

Island life
I loved all the pictures--the island looks as good as you described it! Also glad to hear about Ella's learning about science, social studies, etc. as you run across things. What is the process for writing her blogs? Does she hand write the content and then you make corrections together? Does she key it in to the computer? Louisa was asking these today.

colors
I love all the colors and the light in the photos and the running commentary. It's a delight to all the senses. Sight, sound, touch, taste, smell....ahhhhhhhhh!

happy to be connected
I love reading your descriptions and the purple cow's adventures especially. When we were huddled around the computer and sophie was cuddled at my feet, I looked down at her as I was reading aloud and said this is from May and Paul and Ellan and Jordan and she went nuts- started wagging and jumping like she understood. So sweet, your bloved pups are missing you and love the updates. kisses- K

Tioman Island
I am sooo jealous. This is where I have always wanted to go ever since I saw South Pacific. I loved hearing all about it and especially enjoyed your pictures. Jordan, you look quite lovely in your bikini....I bet Dad needs a big stick to keep the boys away. Love to all, Doris
