Yup, so I didn't eand up going to Cameron Highlands, but decided on Melaka, in the more southern parts of Malaysia. Johan decided to join me to get away from Pangkor life for a few days, so we embarked on the the last ferry out and caught the 10:30 pm 8 hour bus ride here. After switching buses 3 times, we finally made it here this morning at around 6:45am. Without a ounce of shut eye, we jumped in a cab and headed to this great guesthouse called Sama-Sama. It's yet another reggae theme with really nice owners. The place is so serene, with beautiful sunlit rooms around an inner garden terrace with a coi pond. Very nice place and at a good price too. I haven't done much today as I feel like this journey aged me like 30 years.. LOL (Why this one and not all the other ones?) Anyway as soon as I got there I went for a nap and Johan ventured off to visit the area... must be nice to be younger.. LOL Woke up at 12 noon, showered, then headed out to visit around. Had a bite to eat, then walked around and now here

at the internet cafe. It's so friggin' hot here it's unreal. It's actually not that bad but we kinda figured that it's just the exhaustion that makes it 3 times worse than it really is. So tonight will be a chill night, play a game of pool have a beer or two, then passing out that's for sure.

Melaka is a wonderful city. It's a nice break from big city highrises as most of it is very old and low. We're staying in the old part of Melaka. The guesthouse is 300 years old, is absolutely gorgeous. All the houses arounf there are pretty much in the same age range which makes itfeel like an old Chinese village... well that's what it pretty much is. It's great here and I can definetely see myself staying here for a while, but the beaches still hold me at heart. Will see what happens in 2 days, maybe head off to Cameron Highlands or just sick it out over here, who knows.

Well, I guess that's it for now as my eyes can no longer focus from the fatigue.
Give you more updates later.
