A refreshing break from the hustle bustle of the city into the lap of the tropical paradise, still falling short for words to describe Langkawi. The outstanding natural landscapes of Pulau Langkawi truly proclaims it a true tropical paradise. Besides its whites sandy beaches and limestone hills, its lush vegetation filled with exotic flora and fauna would attract natural lovers.

I stayed in Sheraton Langkawi, which is a short drive from the Langkawi International Airport, and is spread over lush tropical greenery along with private beach coves. This makes Sheraton the perfect place to seek tranquility and relaxation. I had a chauffeur driven Mercedes and an incredible tour guide who made this journey even more beautiful. I hope he didn't land up in trouble for driving me around longer than what I paid for.

A visit to the oriental village, hot water springs, Langkawi waterfalls, a day's trip to coral islands for snorkelling, a walk on the black sand beach, a candle light dinner by the beach, a swim in the pool followed by the spa....what more does one want for a perfect holiday!
