Day 2 in Luang Prabang
Yesterday, we had found a hotel which was supposed to the Hoxieng hotel according to the LP guide, only it is (now?) called some other name. Regardless, we were happy as it is in a good location away from the traffic and heat, just by the river, and run by a friendly Laotian family.
Luang Prabang a small city on a tongue-shaped piece of land created by the curving of the Mekong river. The central feature is the Phu Si hill, on which some "recently" built temples sit...
