Vang Vieng....Tubing...!
Got back from 2 days in Vang Vieng today...last minute decision to go down on the bus with a guy called Tom I met the day before. An agonising 6 hour bus ride there and back over the mountains but well worth it. Met another guy on the bus called Emeric, he is French....turned out he was very scared of cats and pineapple!?! don't ask...
We spent the next 2 days just lazing around. We found a bar where they gave you one drinks menu and one drugs menu...I took a picture just incase no one believed me...
On the second day we went tubing down the river....one of the best things I have done so far. You basically sit inside a tyre inner tube and float lazily down the river. The views were superb as the river runs through the mountains...we floated down stopping at various bars along the way where we had plenty of beers and swung into the river on rope swings...oh and a yummy cheese sandwich and chips (cheese is very hard to come by here). Was loads of fun....ended up at a bar called Smile Bar where we sat in
Magic mushrooms...
Me, Darren and Aymeric....slightly high!hammocks next to the river drinking mushroom shakes and eating pizza. Sat around there for hours looking up at the sky as there were loads of stars, shooting stars aswell....or was that the mushrooms??? ;-)
Night finished all sat round a fire....check out the piccies got some good ones....more to come though once the guys send me them...

Hey Laura, Funny blog entries...I nearly forgot about how dangerous pineapple and cats were! Hope you are doing well. I have just spent the last couple of weeks adjusting to this place they call the "real world" and moving house. So once I get my shit together I will send some more photos. Cheers Darren
