The Next Few Days

Just to let you know our plans for the next few days as it may be a while before we get a chance to update the blog again.

We're spending the next 2 days in Luang Prabang, tomorrow we're going elephant riding then the day after we'll have a wander around and see the sights. After that we're heading down to Vientianne, which is going to be our base for the rest of our time. We hope to head up a big resevoir where you have to get to the hostel by kayak. Also we hope to go to a village that had an elephant problem as they were eating all their crops. Fortunately they've decided to make an eco-tourism project out of it rather than kill the elephants!

And that will pretty much take up all the rest of our time. We're flying from Vientianne back to Bangkok on the morning of the 6th then that afternoon we fly home arriving on the 7th.
