we hiked over 6 hours to get to this village, in the middle of nowhere. it was pretty hazy and hard to see very far, but this gives you an idea (oliver)

i would like to add at this point that the only reason there are more incriminating pictures of me on this blog than oliver is because i am a FAR NICER person. both in regards to not putting on pictures of shlur, and letting him put on pictures of me. because i know that my reputation is impeccable, and no attempts at destroying my reputation will ever be successful. Sticky....
over there gives rise to new meanings of sticky ey? You remind me of stories I heard 30 years ago regarding my friends doing an army stint in Vietnam. The heat and bugs were helacious, imagine fighting a war in that environment. I'd been thinking about you two this past week and wondering...pictures of y'all are great and lovin' the travels without being sticky! Thank you. Good to hear from you and know you are safe and having adventures. Stay that way and enjoy...Love you bunches. When are you due back? Hope you're all better Dorien..e Molly

did it
I guess it was me, because after writing you the direct email Iwas able to get in. Challenging travels you are having, seems like there is a lot 'budding capitalism', annoying as it is, it is a way to make cash income, which in some rural areas it might be hard to come by. But it would be nice to find some consistant and honest individuals to deal with.....so good to see the pictures and the smiles, I miss you two, keep on trekking and keep posting the blog, I love it!! Ca CAW
Nice entry. I just saw an episode of Survivor Man where he was dropped in the rainforest with only his knife and had to find a way out. He came upon a few bamboo, or were they bolsa, trees along a river and ended up making a raft and floating out to sea. I figured you two might be doing the same. That sucks the man is trying to keep down even on the other side of the planet. Thanks for the clarification that a machete is a large knife Oliver. Even more great pics, keep them coming. I am going to play Lizards later today in honor of you two. Ca CAW!
