The colour of Kyrgyzstan is not red, as the flag suggests, or as might be associated with the recent spillage of blood in the south of the country. wow.. definetely will put Kyrgyzstan on my trip list! :D they do have great sceneries as I seen in your pictures. Very different with my imagination recently after heard many bad news about it. And yes they are so colourful :) happy travelling! Martha

Worth the effort!!
After reading some of your previous entries on this latest journey, I was wondering WHY? ...it seems so too much hard work for some only mildly interesting places!! Now with the Karakol valley adventure I can see Central Asia might be worth a visit after all!!
